Gratt's Drinking Song

I drank ale on the run, Drink!

I drank ale by the tun, Drink!

I drank ale from a mug, Drink!

I drank ale by the jug, Drink!

I drank ale by the flagon, Drink!

I drank ale from a dragon, Drink!

Gratt was a rhyming genius among the orcs. His works are celebrated by all the green-skinned races and his songs have survived his entire clans extinction. His other works are a bit changed from their original writing and most of his rhyming schemes are worse than this song. His drinking song was given the most work, (it was his favorite pastime) and has survived nearly unchanged since he sang his final version to the King of the Grey Barrow, shortly before he lost his balance while bowing and pushed a servant carrying several large tankards into the King's lap.

Lord Riggle's Travelling Song

I was in my carriage just travelling,
Down, down, down, the long, long road,

'Til a wheel shattered, then I was riding,
Down, down, down, the long, long road,

'Til the horse went lame, then I was walking,
Down, down, down, the long, long road,

'Til I tripped on a stone, then I was crawling,
Down, down, down, the long, long road,

'Til I was dust-choked and dying, then I was lying,
Down, down down, on the long long road.

Written after his death by the Royal Bard Anderiferis, Lord Riggle's Travelling Song was an account of the unloved Lord's death as he journeyed to the capitol. Sung at the festivities after his funeral, away from the ears of his grieving widow, the song was an instant hit and sung by most noble travellers to pass the time on the road or at hunt.
