Chalices

From jeweled cups to ever-full crystal glasses, the uses and value of these items are varied. Some are magical, but most are simple decorative pieces. Knowing their value and use is one of a thief's most useful skills. Whether in sets or singles, the cups of royalty and the affluent hold more than simple drinks, they are riches to be found and exploited.

Statuary

From the amulet-sized carvings to room-filling statues, the statuary of the realm has enormous value to the correct collector. Be careful that what you endeavor to appropriate also has an interested party or an intrinsic value. Many a thief has been caught because what they have stolen brilliantly, they have no way to turn into cash. Magic detection in these cases is invaluable, many wizards enchant carvings and statues as protection, to the undoing of many thieves.

Jewelry

Some of the most valuable items a thief will aquire in their career are pieces of jewelry. Gem-studded necklaces, jeweled rings, silver bracers and bracelets, and even tiaras and simple crowns are common examples of the jewelry found in every hoard or treasure. Magic detection is a must with these items, since they are the most commonly enchanted riches found. Magic rings, amulets and necklaces abound. But beware for accursed items are just as common.

Many work to achieve greatness. Why? The answer is because they were too stupid to do it dishonestly.
